Trims and Powertrains

The 2025 lineup for the Ford Bronco consists of the Base, Big Bend, Outer Banks, Heritage Edition, Badlands, Stroppe Edition, and Raptor. All but the Stroppe Edition have four doors; the Base and Badlands are made in both the two- and four-door configuration. The standard top, hard or soft, varies according to the trim (see the Standard Features section for details).

Most trims are powered by a 300-horsepower, turbocharged 2.3-liter EcoBoost four-cylinder engine. The Stroppe Edition gets a 330-horsepower turbo 2.7-liter EcoBoost V6 instead; this upgrade is optional for the Outer Banks and Heritage Edition. A twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter V6 making 418 horsepower is exclusive to the Raptor. A seven-speed manual transmission is the default for most Bronco trims with the base four-cylinder, while a ten-speed automatic is optional (and included with the Outer Banks, Stroppe Edition, and Raptor). All six-cylinder engines are paired with the automatic.

The EPA hadn’t released the 2025 Ford Bronco’s fuel economy ratings at the time of this writing. For reference, the 2024 edition’s fuel efficiency varied depending on the engine, transmission, and trim. In the 2024 Bronco, trims with the 2.3-liter EcoBoost achieved between 16 and 18 mpg in city driving and between 17 and 21 mpg on highways. For those with the turbocharged 2.7-liter V6, fuel economy ranged from 17 to 19 mpg in city conditions and 17 to 21 mpg during highway driving. The 2024 Raptor delivered 15 mpg around town and 17 mpg on the open road. The 2025 Bronco can tow up to 3,500 pounds (4,500 lb. for the Raptor).

Standard Features

The Bronco Base is a back-to-basics approach with seating for four (two-door) or five (four-door). This entry-level trim features a molded hardtop with removable front-row roof panels (two-door) or a soft top (four-door), a HOSS 1.0 suspension system, LED headlights, fabric upholstery, manual air conditioning, remote keyless entry, a center floor console (lockable), a leather-wrapped gear shift knob, cruise control, and 16-inch steel wheels. It also gets the G.O.A.T. (Go Over Any Terrain) terrain management system with five modes.

The four-door Big Bend combines the open-air exhilaration of a standard soft top with additional comfort and convenience features like heated front seats, dual-zone automatic climate control, proximity keyless entry, remote start (automatic transmission only), illuminated sliding visor vanity mirrors, a center console-mounted power outlet, two USB ports, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, and 17-inch aluminum wheels. The Outer Banks emphasizes style with painted fender flares, signature LED exterior lighting, LED fog lamps, powder-coated tube steps, and exclusive 18-inch wheels. This mid-tier trim also has a soft top, four doors, a heated steering wheel, and enhanced proximity keyless entry.

The four-door Heritage Edition harkens to the original 1966 Ford Bronco via classic styling cues like squared fenders, exclusive body graphics, and Oxford White treatments inside and out, including on the standard molded hardtop. Its off-road capabilities are enhanced thanks to the included Sasquatch Package, a locking rear differential, and steel underbody bash plates. Navy Pier plaid cloth seats complete the retro vibe. The Badlands comes equipped with a soft top for the four-door or a hardtop for the two-door. Its off-pavement credentials are boosted by the HOSS 2.0 suspension system with Bilstein shocks, front stabilizer disconnect, seven-mode G.O.A.T. system, and 35-inch mud-terrain tires on 17-inch wheels. Marine-grade vinyl-trimmed seats reinforce its ruggedness.

The race-ready Stroppe Edition hits the track or trail with Code Orange body color and cabin accents, a HOSS 3.0 suspension, FOX internal bypass dampers, Stroppe racing badges, a matte black hood to minimize sun glare, and 17-inch matte black-painted alloys with 35-inch Goodyear Territory RT tires. This limited edition also has an Atlas Blue-painted hardtop, a Frozen-White painted grille, full underbody bash plates, a heavy-duty module front bumper, and exclusive vinyl upholstery with stitched Code Orange accents. The four-door hardtop Raptor sets itself apart from the rest of the Bronco lineup with wider fenders and flares, a HOSS 4.4 suspension, FOX live valve 3.2 internal bypass semi-active dampers, a heavy-duty modular front bumper with RIGID fog lights, full-body steel bash plates, and 37-inch all-terrain tires on 17-inch alloy wheels.

The Sasquatch Package is available on the Base, Big Bend, Outer Banks, and Badlands and is included with the Heritage Edition and Stroppe Edition. It adds an upgraded 4WD system, a 4.7 final drive ratio with electronic-locking axles, a high-clearance suspension, enhanced Bilstein shocks, and 17-inch alloy wheels with 35-inch tires.

Advanced Driver Aids and Safety Technology

Ford’s CoPilot360 safety suite is standard on every ‘25 Bronco. The included technologies are forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, pedestrian detection, dynamic brake support, lane-keeping alert, lane-keeping aid, driver alert, blind-spot monitoring, cross-traffic alert, and automatic high beams. A surround-view monitor and adaptive cruise control are standard with the Stroppe Edition and Raptor and optional on the Outer Banks and Badlands. Every trim also gets a set of airbags, anti-lock brakes, stability control, traction control, hill start assist, hill descent control (manual transmission only), and a rearview camera with backup assist grid lines.

Infotainment and Connectivity

Infotainment is handled through a 12-inch touchscreen and the Ford SYNC 4 platform. The system is supported by wireless smartphone connection (Android Auto and Apple CarPlay), SiriusXM satellite radio, Bluetooth, and access to connected services. The Big Bend and higher also receive a one-year trial subscription to connected navigation services. Most trims have a seven-speaker audio system, while the Stroppe Edition and Raptor have a 12-speaker Bang & Olufsen arrangement that’s an option for the Outer Banks and Badlands.
