2022 Ford Escape Hybrid for Sale in Wilbraham, MA
Trim Levels and Performance
The trio of 2022 Escape Hybrid trims are the SE, SEL, and Titanium. They all have a gas-electric powerplant that pairs a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine with a 96-kW electric motor to produce a combined 200 horsepower. A continuously variable transmission (CVT) controls the standard front-wheel drive (FWD); all-wheel drive (AWD) is available. The EPA-estimated fuel economy for FWD-equipped Escape Hybrids is 44 mpg in the city and 37 mpg on the highway. That around-town rating changes to 43 mpg for Escape Hybrids with AWD.
Standard and Available Features
The standard exterior equipment for the Escape Hybrid SE includes halogen projector-style headlights, automatic high beams, front and rear skid plates, 17-inch aluminum wheels, rear privacy glass, and proximity keyless entry. Inside are push-button start, a 6.5-inch color instrument cluster, sliding second-row seats with a 60/40-split folding capability, a tilt-and-telescoping steering column, and some standard advanced safety technology (see below for details). The options offered for the base SE start with the Convenience Package, which bundles a power driver’s seat, dual-zone automatic climate control, LED exterior accent lighting, a power liftgate, and a keyless-entry keypad. The Cold Weather Package adds some nice elements for winter comfort: remote start, heated side mirrors, heated front seats, and a heated steering wheel.
The SEL adds the SE Convenience and Cold Weather package components plus 18-inch aluminum wheels, rear parking sensors, fog lights, and simulated leather upholstery. The optional SEL Technology Package will add a hands-free liftgate, a 12.3-inch digital instrument panel, an upgraded sound system, a driver’s memory system, and wireless device charging.
The Titanium, of course, has the most standard features, getting everything in the SEL’s Technology Package (minus the upgraded sound system and wireless charging) along with unique exterior accents, roof rails, 19-inch alloy wheels, a power front passenger seat, and an auto-dimming rearview mirror. Buyers can enhance the Titanium with the available Elite Package (leather seats, a self-parking system, a head-up display, an upgraded audio system, and wireless device charging). A panoramic moonroof is available on all trims, and the optional Class II Trailer Tow Package can be added to the SEL and Titanium.
Advanced Safety Features
All 2022 Escape Hybrids are set up with safety-enhancing forward-collision mitigation with pedestrian detection, blind-spot monitoring, and lane departure mitigation. Ford’s Co-Pilot360 Assist+ upgrade, which adds adaptive cruise control and additional lane control technology, is available on the SE and SEL and standard on the Titanium.
Infotainment and Connectivity
The base infotainment system has an 8-inch touchscreen, a six-speaker sound system, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, SiriusXM satellite radio, dual USB ports, and access to a Wi-Fi hotspot. The available SEL Technology Package and Titanium Elite Package include a ten-speaker premium B&O sound system. Escape Hybrids with Co-Pilot360 Assist+ also get navigation.
