2022 Ford Edge for Sale in Wilbraham, MA

Overview
For the 2022 model year, the Ford Edge becomes an even more compelling midsized crossover thanks to the addition of new standard equipment. The biggest news item is that all-wheel drive is now standard. Besides that, the infotainment touchscreen is bigger, making Ford’s state-of-the-art SYNC system easier to operate.
The Edge’s appeal goes beyond these new features. Its spacious five-seat cabin is ideal for someone who doesn’t need or want a larger three-row vehicle yet finds a compact crossover not roomy enough. It’s a “sweet spot” that Edge buyers have appreciated for a decade and a half. There’s 39.2 cubic feet of cargo space behind the second row and 73.4 cubic feet when the rear seat is folded flat, and towing capacity reaches as much as 3,500 pounds, giving the ’22 Edge an appealing combination of comfort and utility.
Trims and Powertrains
The Edge is made in five trims: SE, SEL, ST-Line, Titanium, and the performance-oriented ST. As we noted, all-wheel drive is standard across the lineup. The first three trims get a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder EcoBoost engine making 250 horsepower and 275 lb.-ft. of torque. The ST’s get-up-and-go comes from a twin-turbocharged 2.7-liter EcoBoost V6 that puts out 335 horsepower and 380 lb.-ft. of torque and is connected to a seven-speed automatic transmission (the other trims use an eight-speed automatic). The EPA-estimated fuel economy for the four-cylinder trims is 21 mpg in city driving and 28 mpg on the highway. The ST has an around-town rating of 19 mpg and a highway estimate of 25 mpg.
SE
The SE has everything it needs, with a few extras such as LED lighting (exterior) and automatic headlights. It also gets push-button ignition, rear parking sensors, automatic climate control (dual zone), rear privacy glass, 18-inch alloy wheels, keyless entry, a tilt-and-telescopic steering column, a 60/40-split folding rear seat, and Ford Co-Pilot360 (forward collision mitigation, lane-keep assist, and blind-spot monitoring with cross-traffic alert). Its infotainment system has a 12-inch touchscreen, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto smartphone integration, six speakers, SiriusXM satellite radio, two 12-volt outlets, four USB charge ports, and a Wi-Fi hotspot.
SEL
On the list of upgrades for the SEL are power exterior mirrors, two 4.2-inch driver information displays, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, simulated leather seats (heated in the front row), a 10-way power-adjustable driver’s seat, and a four-way power-adjustable front passenger seat. It’s eligible for a power moonroof, a tow package, and two optional equipment groups, the Convenience Package (power liftgate, wireless device charging, and remote start) and the Adventure Package (package-specific wheels and exterior and interior accents). Navigation is also available, and the standard driver-assist suite can be upgraded to the Co-Pilot360 Assist+ system, which will add adaptive cruise control and evasive steering assist.
ST-Line
This trim takes on a racier look with its 20-inch alloy wheels, LED fog lights, and other special exterior accents. All of the equipment listed above in the Convenience Package becomes standard, while the options mentioned for the SEL also remain the same.
Titanium
The Titanium enjoys some significant upgrades: an adaptive headlight system, exclusive 19-inch wheels, rain-sensing windshield wipers, a hands-free power liftgate, front parking sensors, leather upholstery, a heated steering wheel, heated front seats, a six-way power front seat, and a driver’s memory system. The infotainment system moves up to a premium-quality B&O audio system with a dozen speakers, and navigation is available. As for options, some seating-related enhancements are offered – perforated leather sport seats, ventilated front seats, and heated rear outboard seats – along with navigation and a rear-seat DVD entertainment system which has the screens mounted on the back of the front headrests. Some significant driver-assist technology is also optional, starting with Enhanced Active Park Assist, which helps with parallel parking, reverse perpendicular parking, and more. Evasive steering, adaptive cruise control with stop-and-go and lane centering, and a front camera with a 180-degree view are all available as well.
ST
The ST is about performance and appearance, and so Ford gives it a sport-tuned suspension, blacked-out 20-inch wheels, and eye-catching exterior trim. Inside, there’s trim-exclusive seating covered in a beautiful mix of leather and microfiber. The optional ST Brake Performance Package will upgrade the brakes and swap in summer tires on 21-inch wheels. Although the ST receives some of the same standard luxuries as the Titanium, those that are optional instead include remote start, a heated steering wheel, wireless device charging, and a hands-free liftgate. Beyond that, it’s eligible for the same options as the Titanium, including the driver-assist technology upgrades.
