2022 Ford Bronco Raptor for Sale in Wilbraham, MA

Overview
Ford had already made legions of people blissful when it brought back the Bronco, but now there’s a super-tough performance version that bears the Raptor name. With its 400-hp twin-turbo V6 and extra-tough suspension, the 2022 Bronco Raptor will push the limits for speed, towing, and climbing over formidable obstacles, all while easily coaxing adrenaline from its driver. The Raptor is the world’s first SUV to be inspired by Ultra4 Racing, meaning it’s capable of endurance-focused off-road speed competition. When it arrives this summer, the highly anticipated Bronco Raptor will stake its claim as the most powerful version in the Built Wild sub-brand of Broncos. Let’s talk a little more about what this hardcore heavyweight is all about.
Heart-Pounding Performance
The ‘22 Bronco Raptor will be the most powerful street-legal Bronco ever created, promising unforeseen levels of performance for the most passionate off-pavement enthusiasts. Under its hood is a 3.0-liter twin-turbo EcoBoost V6 that’s expected to produce upwards of 400 hp. It will most likely be paired with a 10-speed SelectShift automatic transmission and advanced four-wheel drive system. The G.O.A.T. (Goes Over Any Type of Terrain) drive modes will also be a fixture, albeit with a new Tow/Haul mode that’ll allow it to tow up to 4,500 pounds (1,000 lb. more than the non-Raptor Broncos). The Bronco Raptor will also show off improved trail traction, thanks to its ability to elevate wheel travel by 60 percent in the front and 40 percent in the rear. Not only that, but Ford states that the Raptor’s ground clearance will be 13.1 inches – an increase of nearly 4.8 inches over the base four-door Bronco.
Daring Exterior and Off-Road Traits
The ’22 Bronco Raptor’s style is extreme, and we mean that in the most positive way. It will impress onlookers with its muscular appearance, starting with a body that’s 9.8 inches wider than the regular Bronco’s, which leads to improved cornering at higher speeds. Some of its standout exterior attributes consist of LED headlights and fog lights, two front and two rear tow hooks, heavy-duty full-vehicle bash plates, rock rails with removable running boards, heated side mirrors, and signature Raptor graphics. Its more off-road-specific elements include a high-speed off-road suspension system (HOSS 4.0) with FOX live-valve semi-active shocks, electronically locking front and rear axles, a higher-speed stabilizer bar disconnect, and beefy 37-inch BF Goodrich all-terrain tires – the largest on any SUV ever assembled in the U.S. The Raptor will also be equipped with Trail Control, Trail Turn Assist, and One-Pedal Driving, just like the other Bronco versions.
Interior Features
The ’22 Bronco Raptor’s interior will be much like the Bronco Badlands’ with its rubberized flooring and marine-grade vinyl upholstery. But it will also be built for comfort with heated front seats, dual-zone automatic climate control, remote start, a 12-inch digital gauge cluster, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, two 12-volt power outlets, multiple smart charging USB ports, and a leather-wrapped sport steering wheel with paddle shifters.
Fords latest SYNC 4 infotainment system will be in there as well. Besides a 12-inch touchscreen, it will have wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, voice recognition, navigation, SiriusXM satellite radio, and a seven-speaker Bose sound system. For a more luxurious experience, Ford will offer available upgrades like leather upholstery, power-adjustable front seats, a heated steering wheel, a wireless phone charger, a universal garage door opener, and a booming 10-speaker Bang & Olufsen sound system.
Advanced Safety Technologies
Along with the ’22 Bronco Raptor’s insatiable thirst for excitement will be a comprehensive package of advanced driver aids. The list will include pre-collision assist with automatic emergency braking, lane keeping assist, blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert, automatic high-beams, a surround-view camera system, trailer sway control, and AdvanceTrac with roll stability control. Adaptive cruise control, evasive steering assist, and front parking sensors will be available as well.
